Privacy policy

What we collect

• We collect your name, email, phone number and delivery address when you order.
• When you play the treat game, we collect your email and, if you tell us, the kind of dog you have.
• When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email and message, and your order number if you add it.
• When you write a review, we collect your rating, title, review, name and email. We show your rating, title, review and name on our website, never your email.
• We keep your order history and any messages you send us.
• When you visit our site, our web server records your IP address, as every web server does.
• We don't see or store your card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe.

What stays in your browser

Your cart, the products you've recently viewed, your treat-game result, the email you entered in the game, and your welcome code and its timer are saved in your own browser's local storage so they're still there when you come back. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. It never receives your name or email. You can block these cookies in your browser settings.

How we use it

• We use it to process, deliver and support your order.
• We use it to email you about a week after your order arrives and ask for a review.
• We use it to send the emails you've asked for. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• We use it to understand which products and pages are working, so we can improve the shop.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service needs to do its job, and we never sell your information.

• Hostinger runs our website and our order system on a server in the United States (Phoenix, Arizona). Your order details, contact messages and our emails pass through it, the order system keeps a working log for 14 days, and the web server logs visitors' IP addresses.
• Supabase keeps our records (orders, email sign-ups, reviews and contact messages) in a database in Sydney, Australia.
• Stripe takes your payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. If you choose Afterpay, Klarna or Zip at checkout, that provider receives the details it needs to approve and take your payment, under its own privacy policy.
• CJ Dropshipping, our fulfilment partner in China, receives your name, delivery address and phone number so it can pack and send your order. It doesn't receive your email; we keep that ourselves. Couriers receive what they need to deliver it.
• Resend sends our emails, from servers in Japan.
• Google receives messages from our contact form in our Gmail inbox, and Google Analytics counts visits. Google Analytics never receives your name or email.

Information that leaves Australia

Some of these services store or handle your information outside Australia: in the United States (our website server, Stripe and Google), in Japan (Resend) and in China (CJ Dropshipping). We choose services that protect it, and we only share what each one needs.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing snufflesupply@gmail.com.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll try to put it right. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
